Susan J. Mitchell is the founding member and President of S. Mitchell & Associates, LLC based in New York.  The firm as it is today began in 2003.

Susan’s professional record has been built as a highly organized strategic thinker, trained initially in international economics and finance at McGill University. 
Susan works with Client management to identify specific client needs and implement optimal solutions.

Her career grew from detailed economic analysis and forecasting into complex multinational, multi-sponsor, multi-commodity project finance and M&A transactions in the natural resource industry.

    • Work with Client Management to define objectives and optimal structure
    • Model financing alternatives to define the most cost effective and efficient
    • Develop presentation material where appropriate
    • Introduce Client to funding sources – debt, equity, other 

    Investor Relations

    • Agree with Client as to objectives, budget and program
    • Contribute to development of most effective presentation to appropriate audiences
    • Identify funders and investors – retail and institutional – to meet Client 
    • Develop introduction program for Client approval and implement it
    • Follow Up with introduced parties and report to Client
    • Arrange Site Visits
    • Broaden audience for further introduction depending on receptions

    Corporate Financial Analysis and Structuring

    • Cashflow forecasting and balance sheet analysis
    • Develop and Analyze alternative financing structures against operating plans
    • Agree with Client on proper approach to meet operating and financial goals
    • Develop, negotiate and close the debt and/or equity transactions

    Corporate Presentation/Information Memorandum Preparation

    • Build/advise on Client Presentations for Investor interest to trigger investor appetite depending on the risks of Client’s development stage, program etc.
    • Develop complete Information Memorandum for Client’s undertaking private placement or other such financing

    Research Reports

    • Short-form Research Reports for Client prepared by qualified Research Analysts           
    • Full length Research Reports fro Client prepared by qualified Research Analysts
